Hinatuan River is located near Surigao del Sur, Mindanao (The southernmost island of the Philippines) Hinatuan River was nicknamed by the locals “The Enchanted River” some say due to the belief that it was not wise to swim there after dark because the spirits watched over the river. Others believe that it was called the The Enchanted River due to the fact that the salt water miraculously flow without any visible source.
No matter which way you look at it, at it’s deepest point it is about 25 meters deep and the water are amazingly clear and deep blue.
