Firá is the capital the island Santorini, Greece.
It is a traditional settlement. “Firá”, actually, is just a mispronunciation of the ancient name -”Thíra”, past name of Santorini island.
Most of the houses in Firá are painted bright white, this creates an amazing contrast together with brown mountain & the blue sky & sea in the horizon. Firá is a great place for photographers (photographers who are whiling to spend a significant amount of euros for a can of coke…)
